RE-1504 3.3/8" STH Grand Slam No-1 Tarpon sea Trout fly reel in very fine condition, made in Argentina, high quality build,  all black finish, large brake tension drum to backplate, black handle with chrome balance counterweight.  reel with backing but seems as new never used. fine well made reel.

RE-1505 3.5/8" x 2" wide CHARLTON model 8500  1.2 fly reel, ( thin Line series ) in mint unused condition,  loaded with line and never used, superb  very heavy superbly made fly reel for Salmon or Salt water , all black finish, back plate with very large drag or tension plate with  standing lion shield logo , with model 8500 1.2, with inscription Thinn-line, large waisted hardwood handle,  made from Aerospace materials and technology, this reel is thought to be one of the finest fly reels in the world, very expensive new, made by Charlton from around 1990 - 1995  the owner paid  $2500 for this reel then.

RE-1513 4” Malloch of Perth, alloy side caster with ivorine handled Gibbs Lock Lever, reel in very fine condition, reel having reversible alloy spool, brass foot and guide ring retaining most of the original bronzing, , large horn handle, rim mounted free spool lever, reel superb with all the original finish owners initials professionally engraved C de LB , Malloch Patent oval logo to winding plate, reel in best possible condition, retaining virtually all the original black lead finish., reel circa 1928

RE-1515 4” x 1.5/8” the “Wallis Watson” patent number 136’217 , 1st model circa 1918, Silex style casting reel in the best possible condition, this is the 1st model of the 3 reels he produced, rim having 2 control's, rim mounted adjuster with brass strap over, and rim brake lever with shaped and turned ivorine lever, spool having single row of ventilation's, and twin ivorine handles, and back plate having 2 sliding spool release and brake levers, the inside being a mass of blued steel and brass , reel in superb condition with all the original finish, Watson of Hexham Northumberland, produced 3 fantastic reels with internal mechanics so strange and complicated that it took collector awhile to figure how all the levers worked, this model was the first, he produced 2 more, 1 in 1923 and the other in 1931, these reels rarely turn up,

RE-1517 4.1//4" Dingley, Westley Richards the "Rolo" casting reel, Pat 20133,  in fine original condition, stamped inside D-389, ( Dingley ), reel  having classic 3 rim controls, and  cut away rim, ( correct factory done ), including Ivorine rim mounted brake lever, heavy brass strap over rim adjuster,  and knurled edged half moon brass on/off check control,  twin ivorine handles on alloy waisted bar,  slipper drum release button to spool, reel retaining most of the black  lead finish ,  brass foot not filed, spinning very free, honest  classic collector reel circa 1915, circa 1920's

RE-1527 4" x 2" wide Bo Mohlin of Sweden the "Classic" Hand built Salmon fly reel  model No-8551, reel hand made from high quality bar stock aluminium, reel having black anodized front and back plate,  front plate ventilated , also spool heavily ventilated , , ebonite handle on serpentine crank handle with counterweight, , back plate having ivorine pressure brake  plunger mounted in  nickel silver , reel back engraved with  BM.No.8551, and the owner Arild Snekkenss, who I believe is a famous  fisherman, reel designer and tester, river guide and expert caster, this was part of his collection, and never used, it comes in a block leather case , superb reel of the highest quality,
