| AG-2244 | 12" un-named genuine mid Victorian Fruitwood Bank Runner with 5 incised rings to shaft, with 2.1/2" x 2" wood spool to top with 2 incised rings to side of spool ,used to set a bait in the water primarily for Pike fishing, now illegal, push the runner into bank, bait the hook, possibly with a frog (barbaric) and throw out to catch the pikeo and go home for a beer, hopefully pull a fish out in the morning, very rare to find, circa 1860's , this along with AG-2246 came out of an old country house attic, 1 of 2 I have listed here. |
